and Ann Chamberlain's iconic card catalog walls at the Main Library, we invite you to learn about the beautiful, elegant card catalog system by telling your story, as a catalog card.
Working with typewriter story artist Barbara Obata and San Francisco Public Library's catalogers, we're offering a drop-in workshop for visitors to tell their own story on a library catalog card, typed up while they wait! Each story is assigned a related Dewey Decimal number and will be displayed in the Public Knowledge Library.
