As part of Public Knowledge, this monthly series casts SFMOMA as a venue for discussing public issues. Hear from a diverse range of speakers invested in the Bay Area’s urban culture as they examine shared concerns, especially around the meaning, value, and challenges of civic life today.

During the closing week of the exhibition The Train: RFK's Last Journey, join us for a conversation with artist Rein Jelle Terpstra, eyewitness Michael Scott, and audiovisual archivist Moriah Ulinksas. The participants will discuss the role that artists and archivists can play uncovering new historical narratives and perspectives, and how the internet has changed the way that members of the public can participate in creating and understanding their own history.

Free and open to the public
