Participants at SFMOMA\u2019s 2018 Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in honor of International Women\u2019s Day<\/p><\/div>\n
Did you know that fewer than 10 percent of Wikipedia editors are women<\/b>?<\/p>\n
In honor of International Women\u2019s Day in March 2018, the Public Knowledge Library hosted SFMOMA\u2019s first-ever Wikipedia Edit-a-thon<\/a> in collaboration with Art+Feminism<\/a>, an international project about \u201cwomen and the ways we talk about them and write about them on the Internet.\u201d<\/p>\n Attendees included SFMOMA staff from four departments, in addition to Wikipedia staff and several members of the public.
