The Public Knowledge collaboration between SFMOMA and the San Francisco Public Library is made possible in large part due to the work of Michelle Jeffers, the library’s chief of community programs and partnerships, and Luis Herrera, San Francisco’s city librarian from 2005 to February 2018. In this interview, the two spoke about the library’s work and the value of the partnership.
